Strong Mentoring Group provides therapeutic mentoring sessions that empower at-risk youth in our communities. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of accountable leaders through connectivity, correction, and empowerment, addressing fear-based behaviors and trauma via purposeful, relatable, and interactive discussions, videos, and self-reflective writing prompts, while also enhancing overall life skills.
Since I was 13 years old, I have dedicated my life to working with inner-city youth, driven by a passion for empowering at-risk youth. I believe in fostering accountability and intelligence, placing a high value on scholastics. My goal is to instill the importance of being productive rather than destructive to help the youth we serve. As a father, I bring love and patience to our interactions. The officer in me will establish structure in their lives, while the teacher in me is committed to educating them. Ultimately, the mentor in me strives to guide them into becoming accountable leaders and accomplished adults through therapeutic mentoring.
